After just enough time to pick a bunk and meet the other members of their group, they’re off on a journey of learning and fun as they participate in sessions like swimming and beach activities, archery, camp-wide games, volleyball, arts and crafts, Journeys (our Christian education component), gaga ball, corcl boating, nature and outdoor adventures!

cabins at Camp Huron

Campers live in wooden cabins of up to eight campers and at least two counsellors. Washrooms with private, gender-neutral showers and stalls are nearby. We eat family style with our cabin groups – lots of nutritious food and options fill hungry tummies. Our Chef is happy to work with families to provide food for special dietary requests and there is a place in our online registration form to indicate your needs.

Camp days are full of supervised activities, meals, worship, and free time. Our evening programs include camp-wide games, entertainment and campfires! And while we keep everyone busy, there is also time to relax, read a book, play cards or catch, make bracelets, listen to music, and just watch the fun. Learn more about a typical day at Camp Huron.

Mailing address is Camp Huron, Box 509, Bayfield, ON N0M 1G0
